Tom Cruise was all set to witness greatness. Bucs star Tom Brady would want nothing more than to be an eight-time Super Bowl champion. Like sharks who smell blood, rumors of the QB’s potential retirement have been circling him. While there’s nothing like proving the NFL wrong, it’s easier said than done.
But the QB has some additional motivation to help him through his battle. Brady has been pictured often with A-list celebrities, and this particular individual may have more in common with Brady than you’d think.
Tom Cruise bears witness to an exciting matchup
If Tom Brady is the face of the NFL, Tom Cruise is the larger-than-life face of Hollywood’s biggest action movies. The ‘Mission Impossible’ star was pictured at the Bucs’ playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys. As the camera panned to Cruise the bouncer was heard saying, “Let’s talk about people who don’t age- Tom Cruise”. The 60-year-old actor who is known for pushing himself for the action-heavy roles he plays may have that in common with Tampa Bay’s leading man.
Brady, who also isn’t one to back away from a challenge, puts himself on the line despite being at the age where most athletes would want to play golf and chill. Cruise may be in for an entertaining match as the Cowboys took the lead. Despite that, Dallas’ QB Dak Prescott is unimpressed by their kicker’s third miss of the game. Three missed field goals in a big game are no joke, and Prescott was visibly frustrated.
Additionally, Brady received some comparisons to Patrick Mahomes.
Brady was moving around and passing to Godwin in a style similar to the Chiefs’ QB.
Fans react to the star power among them
NFL Fans who were eagerly catching the game took their mind off the face-off for a moment after witnessing Cruise’s presence. Perhaps speaking of Brady, this fan remarks that Cruise was there for one reason.
One fan can’t help but say.
Another user makes a wild speculation.
One fan commented.
Another fan won’t be deterred and says that Brady is the only Tom he supports.
This user makes an observation.
One user thinks that the Bucs versus Cowboys game is not enough to entertain
Even Hollywood superstars want to witness Brady’s attempt at making history- once again. The QB may have to deal with different circumstances when compared to any of his peers. For starters, TB12 is 45 years old and leading a not-so-consistent team, whose record says all that needs to be said. If the QB does not retire this season, the chances of him giving it his all one more time with another franchise are looking good to many. At the same time, Brady has given fans no indication of what he may have planned for the future. Regardless of what he chooses to do, the primary goal will remain to get his eighth win. But for that, TB12 and the Bucs must overcome the Cowboys in their first hurdle.
